A bug in V.23.15 revealed itself and has been addressed. V.23.16 is now available to download.
The “Sensitivity 18” Mystery has been solved…
Hi ARRI users! It appears that when connected serially to an ARRI Alexa 35 a bad command is sent to the Cine RT as the camera powers on. This command changes the native Cine RT Sensitivity to “18”. ARRI has been alerted and plans to release a fix with an upcoming SUP. In the meantime, we have released a temporary fix in the form of a Base Sensor firmware patch (no Handset patch is required). Alternatively, we suggest powering your Cine RT/or connecting your bi-directional serial cable AFTER the camera is already powered up.
We’ll let you know when the SUP fix is released by ARRI.
